By uploading any product to Codex Mall, you agree to comply with these Upload Rules, our Terms of Service, and all applicable policies.

1. Ownership and Rights

You may only upload products that you own or have the legal right to distribute. By submitting a product, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the creator of the product or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to distribute it.
• Your upload does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• You have the authority to grant the licenses offered through Codex Mall.
• Any third-party content included in your product is properly licensed.

2. Product Quality Standards

All products submitted to Codex Mall must:

• Be complete and functional.
• Match the description, screenshots, and documentation provided.
• Be free from critical errors that prevent normal use.
• Include clear installation and usage instructions where appropriate.
• Deliver the features advertised on the product page.

Products that are incomplete, misleading, or of consistently poor quality may be rejected or removed.

3. Security Requirements

Products must not contain:

• Malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware, or other malicious code.
• Hidden functionality designed to collect user information without consent.
• Unauthorized remote access mechanisms.
• Backdoors or intentionally insecure code.
• Cryptocurrency mining software without clear disclosure and user consent.

Codex Mall reserves the right to scan and review uploaded files for security risks.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not upload products that:

• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.
• Contain pirated, cracked, or illegally obtained software.
• Bypass software licensing, authentication, or digital rights management.
• Promote or facilitate unlawful activities.
• Contain hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content.
• Include obscene, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful material.
• Impersonate another individual, company, or brand.

Any prohibited content may be removed without prior notice.

5. Third-Party Components

If your product includes third-party libraries, frameworks, fonts, images, audio, or other assets, you must:

• Have the legal right to include them.
• Comply with all applicable third-party license terms.
• Clearly identify any open-source components and their licenses where required.
• Ensure that users receive any notices or attribution required by those licenses.

6. Product Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete product information, including:

• Product title
• Description
• Features
• System requirements
• Version number
• Supported platforms
• Installation instructions
• Changelog, where applicable
• Pricing
• License details

Misleading or inaccurate listings may be edited, suspended, or removed.

7. Updates

You may update your products to:

• Fix bugs
• Improve performance
• Add features
• Address security vulnerabilities
• Maintain compatibility

Updates must not remove core functionality that customers reasonably expect based on the product description at the time of purchase.

8. Support Obligations

Where you advertise support, you agree to:

• Respond to customer inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
• Provide assistance consistent with your advertised support terms.
• Make reasonable efforts to resolve verified defects.

Failure to provide advertised support may affect your seller status on Codex Mall.

9. Intellectual Property Complaints

If we receive a credible complaint that your product infringes another party’s intellectual property rights, we may:

• Temporarily disable access to the product.
• Request evidence of your ownership or licensing rights.
• Remove the product permanently if infringement is confirmed.
• Suspend or terminate your seller account for repeated violations.

10. Review and Approval

Codex Mall may review products before or after publication to ensure compliance with these Upload Rules. We reserve the right to:

• Approve or reject submissions.
• Request changes before publication.
• Remove products that violate our policies.
• Suspend or terminate seller accounts for repeated or serious violations.

Approval of a product does not guarantee ongoing availability on the Platform.

11. Compliance with Laws

You are responsible for ensuring that your products comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to:

• Consumer protection
• Export controls
• Privacy and data protection
• Intellectual property
• Software licensing
• Accessibility, where applicable

12. Enforcement

Failure to comply with these Upload Rules may result in one or more of the following actions:

• Warning or notice of violation.
• Temporary suspension of a product listing.
• Permanent removal of a product.
• Suspension of seller privileges.
• Termination of your account.
• Withholding of payments where permitted by law or our agreements.
• Reporting unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities where required.

Codex Mall reserves the right to determine the appropriate enforcement action based on the severity and frequency of any violation.

13. Changes to These Upload Rules

We may update these Upload Rules from time to time. Revised versions will be posted on the Platform with an updated Effective Date. Your continued use of Codex Mall after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Upload Rules.
